Having spent several years living and working overseas, his international experience adds a global perspective to his approach, enhancing his ability to offer well-rounded financial solutions.
Outside of his professional life, Richard is an avid motorbike rider and enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and weightlifting.

Richard brings mor than 10 years of experience across the banking and financial services sector. His six years working within banking gave him a thorough grounding in how lenders assess and structure lending, credit policy, and the mechanics of residential and commercial finance. He has spent the past four years as a dedicated mortgage adviser at Threefold, applying that institutional knowledge directly on behalf of clients.
Richard has lived and worked overseas, an experience that has broadened his perspective on financial planning and given him an understanding of the specific lending considerations facing returning New Zealanders and internationally mobile clients, including those managing overseas assets, income, or superannuation.
As Head of Mortgages at Threefold, Richard leads the mortgage advisory team and oversees a substantial client portfolio spanning residential, investment, and commercial lending across New Zealand.
